Torso of a Wounded Amazon
myminifactory
A battered warrior's midsection, once part of a mighty Amazon, now serves as a belt, its leather cinched tightly around the waist. The restored head, legs, and arms were carefully removed by the Ashmolean Museum in the late 1800s to preserve the original Roman torso, leaving only this rugged relic intact.
