TORSION SPRING JIG
grabcad
I scoured every inch of space and couldn't find a specific jig that made torsion springs work properly. As a result, I had to design my own, which operates flawlessly in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions with a 100% success rate. I've provided three sizes for you to choose from: 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm, and I'll be adding more options at a later date. You'll only need one handle for all three jigs. Required Items: JIG: 1 x connector nut (2mm larger than your jig size) 1 x M6, M8, or M10 bolt (depending on the jig size) 2 x M5 weld nuts 2 x M5 hex bolts 2 x plates (use the template to cut out of 2mm steel) 1 x 2mm thick washer HANDLE: 1 x M10 hex bolt (for grip purposes) 2 x M10 nuts 1 x M5 weld nut 1 x M5 hex bolt Note: I'm always open to suggestions and help in improving the design and proof of concept.
