Torsion Box T-Nut

After constructing a torsion box for my lowrider CNC router, I realized that I hadn't installed enough threaded inserts for hold downs. These 3D printable ones are specifically designed for use with 3/8" -16 bolts; I highly recommend using nylon bolts if you can find them. These inserts are sized to accommodate a 4-inch thick table. To install, drill a 5/8-inch hole completely through your table and push this insert in from the bottom. It's essential to use PETG or better filament with 90% infill for added strength. If you need an insert of a different length than 4 inches, do not resize these - the threads will no longer be functional. Instead, edit the object or add a spacer under your table.
