Torre de Almodóvar (Interior)

The Tower of Almodóvar or Torregrosa is located in the municipal term of Tarifa, Cádiz. It represents another example of an almenara tower or watchtower that was part of the surveillance and alert system defending the city of Tarifa and its Atlantic territory. Currently, the tower is deteriorating progressively due to the lack of restoration and conservation actions. Similarly, it is affected by the presence of trees in its upper zone and perimeter, which prevents adequate graphical documentation.
