Torpedo Lamp
thingiverse
Torpedo Lamp /vase This lamp is a vase, inspired by a rich red glass of wine, with an unmistakable torpedo shape that caught my eye later on. It's printed using "vase spiral mode" at 0.2mm resolution in transparent red PET-G. The nozzle size was set to 0.4mm and the temperature to 220 degree Celsius. For the Anet A6 printer, it was necessary to lower the flow-rate to 80% when printing with this PET-G material. However, the optimal flow-rate may vary on other printers, so be sure to experiment with different settings. On some machines, I've found that vase spiral mode works even at a low flow-rate of 49%. Printing slow with PET-G also yields much better results, typically around 25mm/sec or slower. PS: I made adjustments to the object's scale in the slicer software.
