Torpedo Lamp This lampshade, which can also serve as a vase, was inspired by a rich red glass of wine. Later, however, I noticed it resembled a torpedo shape even more. It is printed in "vase spiral mode" using transparent PET-G at 0.2mm resolution. The nozzle size is set to 0.4mm at 220 degrees Celsius. For the Anet A6 printer this object was printed on, it was essential to reduce the flow-rate to 80% when printing with PET-G. However, the optimal flow-rate setting may vary depending on other printers. Experiments with vase spiral mode have shown that it works even with a 49% flow-rate on some printers, using PET-G. Printing slow with PET-G also yields much better results, such as 25mm/sec or slower. PS: I might have re-scaled the object in the slicer programs.
