Toroidal Fan

2023/24/02 update: A center peg has been created to use a regular motor instead of a vibrator motor right here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5872642 This is a fan that I now use to blow away soldering vapors. I made this special NASA-inspired ringed set of 'blades' that safely spin at full speed without having to house it in an enclosure around it. I used a toggle switch, a DC vibrating motor which inserts in the little cylinder that is printed between the other two items in the attached stl file. The ID of the propeller center is 7.5mm so the mount cylinder is spec'd out to 6.9mm which allows you to squeeze it in to the prop center without using glue. Here's a quick video of it in action: https://youtu.be/pRjeURVlSpA Enjoy!
