The XY carriage was completely reimagined to perfectly accommodate the MGN9C linear rail. To secure the rail, M3.5 screws are specified, but due to a design oversight, it currently relies on M3 screws despite the rail's M3.5 holes. Fortunately, this mistake works out well since M3 screws are far more accessible than their M3.5 counterparts. For optimal results, I recommend using an M3 x 25mm screw and, ideally, pairing it with a nyloc nut. However, a tightly secured regular M3 nut will also suffice. This revamped design aims to significantly minimize the weight of the original carriage while incorporating a useful wire guide feature.
