Panavia Tornado MRCA The Panavia Tornado is a prime example of a joint project between nations, developed and built by Italy, the United Kingdom, and West Germany. Officially known as the Panavia PA-200 Tornado, this multirole combat aircraft (MRCA) excels at flying low-level sorties along terrain contours while carrying out reconnaissance, defense suppression, deep strike, naval strike, and air defense missions. The name "Tornado" was chosen due to its identical meaning in English, German, and Italian languages. Main variants of the Tornado include the standard fighter-bomber IDS (interdiction and strike) model and the ADV interceptor (air defense variant). Additionally, there's a variant called ECR (electronic combat/reconnaissance), which is similar to the IDS but with distinct equipment. The Royal Saudi Air Force is one of the few operators of Tornado aircraft, having acquired both IDS and ADV variants. The United Kingdom has largely retired its Tornados, however. This aircraft has seen action in various conflicts including the Gulf War, Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq, and Libyan civil war. As a young person, I vividly remember witnessing my first Tornado soar overhead our home, which was situated just a few kilometers away from an airbase in northern Italy. The Panavia Tornado holds a special place in my memories to this day. Models uploaded include the ADV and IDS variants, each represented with wings at minimum and maximum angles. The models were printed on a 1:100 scale using a 1:285 nozzle with 0.4mm layers and 0.12mm thickness. Printed in two halves as shown in the image and then assembled. September 16, 2019: mesh errors discovered and corrected.
