Tormach PCNC440 Passive Probe holder

So if you own a Tormach PCNC 440 and the TTS passive probe, you know it's kind of a pain to hookup/disconnect between uses. Since it plugs in you have a cord from the back right of the enclosure to your probe making it very awkward to put away. I was really annoyed one day when I was repeatedly probing short runs and decided you should be able to leave the thing plugged in. So I create a holder that mounts onto the outside of the case right above the DIN plug that the probe connects to (note the small removable panel above the probe, it mounts right onto that (leave it in place, and you just need longer M3 screws (it is counterbored to use regular hex keyed M3s without washers) I used 12mm length screws but you could probably do 8 or maybe even 6mm length if that's all you had. This is non-weight bearing so PLA is just fine. You do not need any supports to print it (at least on my prusa).I included the STEP file to allow you to mod this to your needs (or switch to Imperial if you are planning to machine it rather than print it)This prints with the flat plate down, without supports, and had no problems as it was designed without bridging. I used gyroid fill, but whatever, it's supporting a couple of oz of weight. I left the steel plate in palace given it provides a reliable seal (you will note it is a major cooling fan air leak when it's open). Note this mount does cover the "read the manual" warning symbol, but please not like any of us ever read manuals on this site!Remove the screws and washers from the plate above the probe plug, and store them somewhere. They are just really short M3 screws. My design does not accommodate washers, but the plastic sort of serves that purpose. I used stainless M3x12mm screws through the holder through the removable steel plate. Works great. Make sure the chamfered side is up (well if not, "Probe" will be upside down?) to accommodate inserting the probe's TTS shank. The original model is from OnShape CAD and then the Emboss was added in Fusion. It is modeled Metric for printing but feel free to import the STEP file and switch to imperial if you are planning to machine this.
