Torchlight 2 Unicorn

I designed these unicorns as brand-new pets for the game Torchlight 2 while working at Panic Button Games! They were exclusively released for the Switch console. This project was a thrilling and demanding challenge because we faced numerous uncertainties during early development. We knew we had to utilize an animation set and rig of an existing pet, but weren't certain how much we could deviate from the already established skeletal framework. Initially, it started as one of the enemy NPCs that transformed into a capybara, then into a fat pony, before becoming a fat unicorn. I relished the freedom to conceptualize unique and unusual pets until we settled on this design. The pink unicorn was the first to be created, followed by the rainbow, black, then dapple pony models.
