My dad really wanted that model, so I happily obliged :-) He was after a closed ring with the profile of a pentagon rotating once within itself as it traveled around. That meant the pentagon would have the same position five times. As I built it, I decided to create an additional version where it would rotate one time less and connect to the next surface instead of repeating when it reached the beginning, resulting in an infinite long surface with just one continuous piece rather than five separate ones. With a 100mm inner diameter, you could theoretically wear it as a bracelet, but honestly, it wouldn't be very comfortable and you'd need pretty small hands.
