This is a carriage designed specifically for the Robo 3dR1+ printer, allowing it to use the Toranado Extruder upgrade. A fan has been included to attach to the back of the carriage for cooling during prints. A few users have asked how to configure this carriage for their Robo 3d R1+ printer. First, the wires for the stepper motor match the colors of the NEMA 17 motor it replaces, so you should be fine there. Next, we need to address the firmware. You likely already have a copy of the firmware since you changed the settings for installing the E3d V6 hot end. If not, visit the Robo website under Support and download the firmware named "Lead screw upgrade."
