Toranado Precision Geared Extruder X-Carriage for Prusa i3 with 8mm Smooth Rods Update 8-29-2016: CAD .STP files added for M3 Nut and Heated Insert versions. Update 1-31-2016: An alternate x-carriage design now uses M3 nuts instead of Brass Knurl nuts. Print tpge-xcarriage-wm3nuts.stl and use that part instead if desired. This x-carriage is designed with several key considerations in mind: It utilizes the Prusa i3 format for 8mm smooth rods placed 45mm apart. A perfect mount is provided for the Toranado Precision Geared Extruder, maximizing Z-axis print height. An integrated X-axis belt holder is included. The same mounting pattern spacing as the i3 Rework is used.
