There's something to be said for the thrill of topwater fishing, and that's exactly what I've created with my 3D printed topwater minnow lure - a personal favorite among anglers. Assembling it is a breeze, similar to my Crankbait Fishing Lure. I've put these lures through their paces, and they swim with impressive agility, featuring plenty of wobble action that's sure to entice even the most finicky fish. When twitched on the retrieve, they boast a convincing wounded minnow appearance that's hard to resist. The lure was designed to utilize BB's for weight to achieve optimal flotation. Check out the images below for examples of how it works in practice. I've opted for #10 Treble Hooks and #2 Split Rings on these lures, ensuring a secure hold on any unsuspecting fish. On September 28th, I added a lip-less version and template for making clear-lipped versions, as requested by users. However, keep in mind that I haven't tested this design yet, so I'm not sure if there's enough surface area to attach the lip successfully. If you try it out and encounter any issues, please let me know. It's worth noting that printed lures may require some fine-tuning before they swim perfectly. To achieve optimal performance, refer to online tutorials on how to tune a crankbait.
