Oh. My. God. Becky! Look at her [Topology Optimized, Wall Mounted, Bottle Opener]. It is so [Optimized for a high strength to weight ratio]. She looks like one of those [people who did not realize they need this in their life until now]. Who understands those [weirdos with 3D printers]? They only print things because [they can aid in the consumption of alcohol]. I mean the file it just [requires no supports]. The [organic curves resulting from the topology optimization] are just so big and just like, out there. Look, [the file] is just so [*Free]!

*United States quarter not included.

Be sure to leave a like, post a picture of your finished print and check out my other designs here: https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Juhbrony

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

200

Infill:

20% or more

Filament:
Any Any Ridgid

Notes:

Printing Tips:
Level Your Bed: Follow your printer manufacture’s instructions for the bed level procedure.

Clean Your Bed: For best results follow your printer manufacturers instructions for bed adhesion.

Number of Perimeters: Number of perimeters depends on materials strength. Parts have been tested to stand up well with 2 outer perimeters when printed with PTEG and PLA.

Nozzle Selection: These parts can be printed with a 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzle. Tolerances of the quarter slot might be tighter depending on printing speed and quality of the filament if printed with a 0.6mm nozzle.

Assembly Tips:

Safety First!: Remember to always use proper PPE when working. Use safety glasses, and proper work gloves when assembling. When using sharp objects never apply force towards body or hands. When using glue follow the manufacturer’s instructions, especially those regarding contact with skin, eyes, and ventilation.

Attach to Wall: A sturdy fastening method is recommended. One side of the opener should have two screws in a stud or drywall anchors should be used for attachment. Drill pilot holes in the bottle opener if selected screws are too large for the provided holes.

Materials:

Filament: Many different brands of filament and materials should work. My preferred materials are PLA and PTEG but other materials such as PLA will work just fine. My favorite brands of PTEG available on amazon are Duramic and YOYI. You can get those materials here:

Duramic: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086342QN7/ref=as\_li\_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B086342QN7&linkCode=as2&tag=juhbrony-20&linkId=24a455c95aa8fb9fa3e1506f50cca272

YOYI: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086342QN7/ref=as\_li\_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B086342QN7&linkCode=as2&tag=juhbrony-20&linkId=24a455c95aa8fb9fa3e1506f50cca272

Category: Kitchen & Dining
