Topology Optimised Bike Brake

Topology Optimised Bike Brake

Made some very light, topology optimised bike brake levers. I printed and tested these with eSun ABS+ and recommend to not print these in PLA, PETG or ohter weaker Filaments. The weight of one complete Brake is about 32g (with stainless steel screws). With some more durable filaments like Nylon oder CF Nylon, these might come out even lighter, but I don't have tested this for now. <h3>Materials needed besides the printed parts: </h3> -Steel Tube (ID: 4mm OD: 5mm length:11mm) -M3x30 countersink (2 Pcs) -M4x25 countersink -M3 heat set inserts (2 Pcs) -M4 heat set insert Print and use this at your own risk! Due to your country selfmade bike brakes might not be street legal (even if I don't see any reason for that)
