It keeps the tiles in place, but more importantly, it makes it easy to place the meeples and keep them in place. No more placing a meeple diagonally just to get it knocked out of place a few moves later. ### Other Versions There is also a [version for 3D printing](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4759005). The "split" version works with laser-cutters with a bed size of 600 x 300 mm.
