This belt clip is specifically designed for the Topeak Ratchet Rocket with a plastic case: https://www.amazon.com/Topeak-Ratchet-Rocket/dp/B01GS9ADF8. It's created using CNC/machining/metal CAD, ensuring precise dimensions and accuracy. The holes in this design are intentionally optimized for machining, taking into account the shrinkage that can occur during 3D printing. If you're interested in a 3D printing-specific version of the CAD file, please let me know, and I'll create one specifically for you. I initially rendered this belt clip in aluminum using a Tormach 1100 CNC about a few years ago. The resulting piece was quite heavy, but it served me well during extensive use over a year. If you're interested, some photos of that earlier version are available. Since I lost the original CAD file, I recreated it by carefully measuring off an existing piece to ensure accuracy. In this updated design, I've incorporated a substantial slot in the middle to significantly reduce weight and unnecessary material. I've added another version, _2, on December 18, 2016, which further optimizes weight reduction and redundancy. Additionally, please note that I believe this belt clip fits belts up to 1.5 inches wide. Assembly & Materials To assemble this belt clip, you'll need the two countersunk 2 mm bolts provided with it. Simply place the clip on the case, drop the bolts through, and tighten securely. You may need to perform some filing to achieve a smooth fit between the corner fillets and the surrounding surface.
