Top Plate for Heavy Duty Shelf

I need to secure a heavy-duty shelf but I want to mount just one solid wooden panel over two of them. The top doesn't have any mounting support and the metal will eventually press into the wood over time. To get the right dimensions, I used a caliper to take precise measurements. The outer dimensions for the shelf feet/top are 35mm, the inner dimensions begin at 33mm (at the rounded edge) and it's 2mm thick. Using Tinkercad, I created custom top plates that you can find here: https://tinkercad.com/things/ihwzqjECMqD. I designed three different versions: one without a hole, another with a hole for using a washer, and the third has a milled hole to accommodate wood screws.
