Top for Atomic Pi Case with Baby Breakout
thingiverse
# Before You Begin If you've already printed SirRyanTheGeek's "Atomic Pi Case with Baby Breakout," you can print only the `3top.stl` file and assemble everything together, as the other two pieces remain unmodified. NOTE: If easy access to the reset button is a priority, this top/case may not be suitable. The button is recessed into the case and requires pushing with a pen or similar tool. # Parts * `1bottom.stl` * `2middle.stl` * `3top.stl` * 5 x 20mm-30mm M3 screws (20mm barely fits into the top, but it's what was on hand) * 1 x 6mm M3 screw # Assembly Instructions 1. Print `1bottom.stl` with supports required for countersunk holes. 2. Print `2middle.st` without supports needed. 3. Print `3top.stl` without supports needed. 4. Place the breakout board unattached, and position the middle piece underneath the Atomic Pi; the board should fit into the depression in the piece, noting the cutout for the baby breakout's power jack and orient accordingly. 5. Push the baby breakout board onto its header. 6. Align the bottom piece with the middle piece until not quite through the holes in the Atomic Pi, ensuring a tight hold on both pieces as you do this. One of the center holes in the bottom and middle does not correspond to a hole on the Atomic Pi; this is where the 6mm M3 screw will go. 7. Align the top above the atomic pi and finish turning the screws until fully countersunk, attaching the top piece. Again, ensure that each screw hole remains aligned while holding the top tightly to the rest of the assembly.
