This is a filter basket for the Top Fin Silenstream 20 HOB aquarium filter (also sold as the Streamax SMX450). This filter is sold by itself and also comes with the popular Top Fin 20 Gallon Aquarium Starter Kit. The filter's original design requires costly and inefficient filter cartridges. We designed a filter basket that can be used to fill the filter with your own choice of media and direct the water flow through the different layers of media. This setup both saves money and allows for better filtration and additional bio media. We printed with PLA and have been running it for about 1 year so far and it has been working well.
