My trusty original door wedge (https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-typical-door-wedge-96085) performed flawlessly most of the time. Slippage was extremely rare and, when it did occur, the wedge would slide back a foot or so. This new design doesn't intend to replace my previous model; instead, it's an upgrade. With standard door wedges, you must bend over and slide them under the door - a tedious process that often involves kicking the thing in with all your might! When you want to open the door just a little bit, you have to get back down on the floor and adjust it again. It's a real pain, especially when your back is screaming at you for mercy. This design can be used like a standard door wedge but offers an extra feature that makes life so much easier. You can place it on top of the door and adjust its position simply by sliding it towards or away from the door hinge. Sliding it against the door hinge keeps the door wide open, while moving it to its furthest point holds the door slightly ajar - perfect for keeping your mischievous cat at bay! With the Top Door Wedge, you can leave it in place when you're not using it, so you don't have to waste time adjusting it every time you want to use it again.
