This is a must-have upgrade to relocate the feeder motor to the top of the printer, ensuring the filament feeds with utmost smoothness. This design flawlessly enables the filament to feed directly into the feeder gear, eliminating any looping issues around the side. The printer retains its full range of motion in the z-axis without any compromise. To install this upgrade, print the new bracket and then carefully unmount the stepper motor and feeder from the metal bracket using the 4 screws. Next, unscrew the top crossbar on the printer with the 4 long screws, taking care not to strip them. Slide the new bracket in, making sure it's seated properly, with the end facing towards you. Securely attach the crossbar back into place, ensuring a snug fit. Mount the stepper motor and feeder onto the new bracket just as before, following the same assembly procedure.
