This 1/8" thick acrylic laser-cut top cover safeguards the power supply and electronics on your printer. It prevents scraps from falling into the fan of the power supply, potentially causing damage. To create these covers, obtain a 1/8" thick acrylic sheet measuring approximately 18" x 11". The left and right sides are symmetrical, so two identical parts can be cut out and flipped as needed. Secure each cover on a fully assembled printer using three T nuts and M5 x 8 screws. For added effect, consider "smoke" acrylic with its gray tint transparency.
