Top Cover for Sharp GF-8 boombox
thingiverse
I'm replacing the worn-out gatefold cover on my vintage Sharp GF-8 boombox from the 80s with this custom-made replica. The original cover had a tendency to go missing for these devices. To accommodate my printer's limitations, I split the STL file in half and managed to print it out. When assembled, the new cover measures approximately 39cm in length. After welding the parts together using a 3D printing adhesive, I sanded them down and applied a vibrant red metallic paint finish.
