Top Corner Rod Hockey
thingiverse
Several years back we brought home a rod hockey game from Toys R Us called Top Corner hockey. Unfortunately, this particular brand has been discontinued and parts are no longer obtainable. However, our own hockey game unfortunately experienced some issues with its rods - specifically, a couple of them were damaged beyond repair. Luckily for us, however, there was an innovative solution waiting in the wings to rescue it from complete disaster! After doing a quick Google search on Top Corner Rod Hockey you can easily learn how it's done. And don't forget to follow these basic printing guidelines. **Printing Details** We chose to use a Robo 3D R1 model which prints using ABS and PLA blends, because we figured the extra durability was necessary given that we would be roughhousing with this rod hockey set! To give it that extra edge (ha!) against all that bumping into furniture and accidental mishandling. Also worth noting are our settings for this print: raft enabled with no supports since those were not necessary to achieve solid construction. **Assembly and Clean Up** Now when you finally have your beautifully printed Top Corner hockey set, simply follow these few basic steps in post-print assembly before anything can go amiss: - remove excess rafts where appropriate, - some gentle sanding (you should do it very delicately!),
