Toothpick / Printing support strut 45degX1mm
thingiverse
I was printing a part that needed just a tiny bit of support, and instead of adding full support everywhere, I wanted to add a toothpick-like cylinder as a strut for the unsupported corner. Instead of freehanding the angles in PrusaSlicer's plater's AddPart/Cylinder I thought I'd draw a strut with good bevels on the ends. The end bevels make it easy to freehand a good intersection with a part in a slicer. In the printed part, you could leave it attached as protest for an awkward design, or you could cut it free and make it pretty. By itself, this unsupported 1mm pin at 45 degrees is also a quick test of leveling and adhesion. It should be customizable in Thingiverse
