Toothpick Micro Drone Case

Toothpick Micro Drone Case

thingiverse

This is a design I created using Fusion 360 for my micro drone known as a toothpick made popular by KababFPV. This case likely fits many frames of the same class. My design is based on a frame I got locally that the designer calls the cavity. The case was designed with 2S batteries in mind, and my 2S 450 Tattus and GNBs fit perfectly. 1S packs also fit, but they have some room to move around a bit. I included two different lids - one is 20mm tall and is just a little too tight for the 2S packs but would be nice for 1S, and a 30mm tall lid that will work well with 2S packs. There's now a jump in people building 3S toothpicks so I may need to redesign the battery holes to accommodate 3S packs, but currently I only have 2S toothpicks. I just got my first 3D printer and this is actually my first attempt at designing anything in Fusion or any CAD software, so feel free to give me some pointers on how I could possibly improve the case. I printed this in PLA but will probably try again in something a little more heat-resistant like PETG because the PLA case warped from sitting in my truck in the hot Alabama sun.
