Toothpick Handle
thingiverse
The 3D printing community often faces the issue of removing perf-board beads left after print beds are scraped with a putty knife. To resolve this, hardwood toothpicks with square sides and pencil-points have proven effective in pushing out stubborn beads. These toothpicks can be replaced when worn out or broken, ensuring their continued use. However, holding the toothpick may cause blisters; thus, a solution called "Toothpick Handle" was created. It involves cutting the toothpick in half and inserting it into a square hole on an awl. The handle can also function as a small mallet to break bead static hold. This task is best performed while listening to music or videos, as visual focus isn't essential.
