Toothpick Frame Drone (Firefly inspired)
prusaprinters
After breaking the frame of my Flywoo Firefly Toothpick, I wanted to create a frame that I could easily 3D print. So I made this frame. I did some tests with PETG with 100% filling and the results were good. You need to use a filament that is hard but with some flexibility.I then created a whoop part that I printed in TBU 95 that can be installed easily and it's the drone's battery that holds everything in place (for added security I added clamps). This makes it possible to fly in tight spaces and to protect the propellers quickly. However, you might want to use a harder TPU, such as 70D.Obviously when you use the whoop part you need to do a few tests with your drone to make sure that the motors can take the extra weight.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
