Toothpick Dispenser

Toothpick Dispenser

I needed a better container for toothpicks that I use to mix paint and glue, so I designed this holder. It's meant to fit perfectly into a specific space on a metal rack, but I thought it might be useful to others as well. There are press-fit cutouts in the back for 2 1/4" x 1/8" magnets that keep it securely in place. To ensure proper function, you'll need to add some weight to the tab on the bottom of the toggle barrel so it resets correctly - I used a couple of steel nuts glued onto mine. The main body requires minimal supports when printing with the front face facing downwards, while all other parts can be printed without any support whatsoever. When assembling this holder, make sure the slot in the barrel is facing upwards and the tab is facing towards the back. Also, keep in mind that the knobs are a tight fit into the barrel, so they might be difficult to remove once pushed into place.
