I built my toothpick and initially relied on rubber bands to hold my battery in place, but it wasn't long before the constant tension became extremely annoying. To solve this problem, I designed a lightweight TPU battery holder that weighs only 1.4 grams. The extra weight is well worth it to avoid dealing with frustrating rubber bands.
