A toothpaste extractor mechanism utilizing a ratchet wheel is designed for easy use. The device requires 3x87mm and 3x67mm axles, along with M3x20 bolts, shims, and nuts. Printed parts include the frame, two springs, and two ratchet wheels in red PLA using an Ultimaker and Netfabb. Ultra quality is used for one ratchet wheel, while infill spacing of 1.5mm is employed for all parts except that one. The spring stiffness can be adjusted by altering the infill spacing. Assemble the device by inserting the long axle through the frame and a ratchet wheel, followed by the short axle in the other hole on the ratchet. Mount the second ratchet wheel with teeth facing the same direction, insert the long axle into the other side of the frame, and attach the springs by drilling holes through both the frame and springs.
