I put the toothless grinder through its paces - I was eager to see if it could get the job done. As far as designs go, I don't think this is the most effective, but curiosity got the better of me and I'm pleased to report that it does grind. However, it's clear that this design needs a major overhaul: a scaling factor of at least 200% would be in order.
