After a week of using a toothbrush, leaving it on a shelf is a bad idea because it starts to create a residue of toothpaste that can't be dried properly. This is probably due to the fact that it's wet all the time and is therefore full of bacteria. This is why I've designed a small and compact holder that allows a toothbrush to dry properly. It was made in PLA, but I recommend using PET for better maintenance. To install it, simply apply double-sided tape on the back and stick it onto the wall.
