This adapter enables individuals with limited or no finger movement to brush their teeth by simply moving their palm. It's particularly beneficial for those who have lost the ability to manipulate their fingers due to various reasons. This innovative device was designed specifically for the "Mutual de Seguridad C.Ch.C" in Chile, as part of a collaborative project between the Direction of Innovation and Development and the Neuro Rehabilitation Institute. To assemble this adapter, follow these steps: 1. Print the adapter using a 3D printer. 2. Heat the water to a comfortable temperature. 3. Insert the toothbrush into the adapter and shape it to fit comfortably on the patient's hand. Note: You may need to heat certain parts of the adapter separately to ensure proper flexibility, but be cautious not to burn the patient's skin. 4. If necessary, add a soft surface to provide extra comfort and secure the adapter in place using Velcro.
