Tools for making the AB Mask

Help Make People Create Facemasks! These are resources to assist individuals in producing the AB Mask designed by Jessica Nandino, RN, initially published on Instructables and known as the "By a nurse, For a nurse" face mask. The full-size (unfolded) mask templates for adults and kids can be laser cut or milled, while the "cut on fold" templates are compact enough to be 3D printed. A 21x1.5in ruler is also provided to help cut fabric strips that will serve as ties. Everyone around the globe is encouraged to create these resources and make them freely available for sewers. Labels can be printed if helpful to mark templates for distribution (designed for Avery 5662). A bias tape tool (4cm) is also recommended, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4232886/files. To learn how to create bias tape with that tool, watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ot3zV9He8I If you need assistance in starting a collective in your area to produce and distribute these resources, you can reach out to me through illinoisppe.org. A step-by-step guide on how to create the AB Mask is available on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg7iRjOI67g Special thanks go to Jessica Nandino, RN, for creating the AB Mask and granting me permission to develop resources using her design. Masks made using this pattern should be donated rather than sold. #FaceCoveringChallenge
