Toolkit Screwdriver for BMW vehicle
thingiverse
I designed a BMW toolkit screwdriver for the E90, since they stopped including these in the trunk after E46. I spent around $10 on a Phillips/flathead screwdriver from an online OEM supplier. Since this vehicle uses only Torx fasteners, a Phillips/flathead does me no good. This design lets you use a 2" long 1/4" bit extender off the shelf. You can then add whatever bit you like - any size Torx, any size Phillips, or a flathead. It doesn't quite fit in the toolkit, some trimming would be needed as the extender is thicker than the stock neck. However, it will fit nicely and the trimming is easy. The extender has a friction fit but using an 0.2mm nozzle makes it very tight. This screwdriver also comes with a 10mm box wrench on the bottom and an 8mm box wrench on the top but you have to remove the extender to use that one. It replaces BMW PN 71111179629. The design should fit E30, E46, E90, and many more vehicles. I used a long Phillips bit I had lying around but you should use a shorter one.
