Tooling Cylinder

This practice model was created in SolidWorks with the tools line, centerline, smart dimension, slot, offset entities, mirror, revolved boss, fillet, circular pattern, and cut extrude. I changed the material to AISI 1020 to fully match the required mass. After looking at the blueprint, I knew I had to use the tool revolved boss for the 3D aspect of the model as it will make it round. It is important to note that when using the revolved boss tool, you need a centerline to revolve the sketch around. With a chance to redo it, I would have tried not to over think the way to create the extruded cut aspects on the faces.Tooling Cylinder 1:Mass = 3079.89 gramsVolume = 389859.60 cubic millimetersSurface area = 42764.34 square millimetersTooling Cylinder 2:Mass = 2686.94 gramsVolume = 340119.22 cubic millimetersSurface area = 61020.74 square millimetersTooling Cylinder 3:Mass = 2636.25 gramsVolume = 333702.99 cubic millimetersSurface area = 62105.16 square millimeters
