Toolbox Labels
thingiverse
I designed these 3/4" high labels to clearly mark which drawers hold specific tools. By attaching magnetic tape to the back, you can easily affix them to metal toolbox drawers and rearrange their placement as your toolbox layout changes. The STL files and Customizer will produce monochrome labels. To create multicolored labels, pause your printer and swap spools after printing each text layer. I recommend pausing before changing spools to ensure the best results. I used this magnetic tape from Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/MASTER-MAGNETICS-3-4-in-x-26-ft-Magnetic-Tape-with-Dispenser-96774/204752648 Sometimes the adhesive doesn't stick well. In those cases, I simply apply a small amount of super glue to secure it. I've included some pre-made labels for you to print. If you need more, you can use the Customizer. Keep in mind that lower case letters with descenders may extend beyond the bottom edge of the default label size, and you'll need to adjust the label length according to your text. Additionally, I added features to customize fonts, text sizes, and label heights. Please be aware that changing font styles isn't checked for validity, so use this feature at your own discretion.
