Constructing a toolbox for your Prusa Mendel 3D printer is both practical and convenient. This accessory keeps your tools safe and easily accessible while ensuring they are always ready to use. Additionally, it's perfect for transporting your printer to another location since all your tools can be carried in one place, preventing any confusion about their whereabouts. Although the design caters more to a larger Prusa Mendel on the X-axis, it can still be installed on a standard Prusa by slightly adjusting the box's position relative to the frame. To print your toolbox, you need to download and print the following STL files: Base.stl, Tapa_logo.stl, Cajon.stl, two montura, and M8rod_1.stl (*M8rod_2.stl). After printing, assemble the Base.stl and Tapa_logo.stl components using four M4x55 threaded rods, four M4 nuts, and four M4 washers (optional) per hole. To mount the box to a threaded M8 rod, you will need four M3x15 screws, four M3 nuts, and four M3 washers (optional). Finally, create a handle for your toolbox by attaching it with an M3x15 screw and two M3 nuts.
