Tool to Safely Let the Pressure Out of Emptied Petainers

This simple tool lets you safely release pressure in emptied Petainer containers before recycling. Some folks got seriously hurt when they poked these containers with a knife, which caused them to explode. A friend came up with this idea and I designed the tool based on that concept. It seems it works with any type of plastic as long as you print it according to the instructions. Here are the instructions for use: Hold the tool in your palm with the flat side facing upwards and the square part pointing towards your wrist. Hook the lip under the rim of the Petainer closure (the tooth should press on the red part now). Evenly press down the top side with your palm. The gas and possible beer droplets will now shoot out downwards from under the square part, so point it away from any clothes.
