Tool Rack - Creality Ender 3 or 5
thingiverse
This is a straightforward tool rack designed to attach directly to any printer that uses 2040 extruded rails. To keep things simple, I've utilized a vertical guide rail on one side and a 3mm T-Nut on the other side, secured by an 8mm M3 bolt. The bracket features a wedge that securely grips and holds the rack in place, allowing it to be quickly removed when working on the printer or when a large number of tools are needed elsewhere. There are several similar designs available online, but I wanted one that precisely matched my tool list, and provided a more convenient mounting option. Designs that clip onto the rail had proven difficult to mount, either being too rigid to clip or not grippy enough to stay in place once items were loaded on. Currently, it's used to hold callipers, clippers, hex keys, tweezers, and a few files. I plan to update this design as my tools evolve. Modifying this tool rack isn't particularly challenging, so if you need a minor alteration, feel free to post a comment and I'll do my best to assist you. I'd like to extend my gratitude to TrigoKlei for their excellent design that inspired me in the first place, DaVinci2000 for the T-Nut design that helped hold it in place, and Kaylee for her assistance in designing and testing the tool rack.
