The main difference between this one and others on the market is its ability to adjust 44mm protrusion. This feature is particularly useful for certain types of gouges, such as bowl-bottom-gouges, which are often recommended by professional turners. To use it effectively, you can attach a small piece of wood (about 1cm x 1cm) and secure it with countersunk bolts, just like the picture shows. Once that's done, you can hang it on the edge of your workbench in the same way as the original device.
