To craft a clay vessel, you'll need a potter's wheel, a moist clay sphere, a water bucket, a sponge, and a pair of hands - that's it, almost. In reality, a range of tools must be at your fingertips and readily available to scrape, dig, sculpt, and complete the piece in progress. I conceived an idea for holders that attach to the rim of the vessel for enhanced accessibility and integrate a support for a bowl with a damp sponge. The curved shape enables multiple supports to fit snugly side by side without any space between them.
