Tool holder for Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro B
thingiverse
Hi! I've been searching for a reliable tool holder for my 3D printer and couldn't find one that met my requirements. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own. This custom tool holder is specifically designed to hold the standard tools that come with your Geeetech 3D printer. You know, the screwdriver set, files, and other essential bits and pieces. I also wanted it to accommodate SD cards, USB devices, and my trusty digital calipers (it can fit most calipers on the market). All you need is four M3 nuts with M3 x 12mm screws. If you've got spares from when you bought your printer, that's even better! Just swap out the screw holding the bracket for the threaded- and guiding- rods with a M3 x 20mm instead of the original M3 x 14mm. I've had my tool holder mounted for a while now, and I'm extremely satisfied. It does wobble a bit when the printer moves, but everything stays securely in place. Newsflash: if you print with higher infill (30% should do the trick), your toolholder will be even stronger – just don't overfill it, or it might flex under the weight. Here are my print settings: Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3 pro B Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 80%
