Tool Holder for Aluminum Extrusion

Tool Holder for Aluminum Extrusion

thingiverse

Over the past few years, I've wasted an embarrassing amount of time searching for my paint scraper/tweezers/etc to remove parts from my build plate or grab goop stuck on my printer's nozzle. I finally decided to design a holder that would keep all my commonly-used printer tools in one place! There are probably many similar designs out there, but this fits the specific tools I use perfectly. This holder can hold my paint scraper (up to 78mm wide), razor blade + handle (check the files for what I use), nozzle brush (from Colorado Printing Project), and several pairs of tweezers. I've included the .f3d files so that anyone can easily modify them for different tools! The holder attaches to 3030 aluminum extrusion via two M5 screws and matching T-nuts. Making it fit well with 2020 extrusion would simply involve moving the mounting holes up in the .f3d file so the top of the tool holder doesn't stick out above the top of the extrusion.
