Tool Holder
thingiverse
The holder is designed to fit perfectly on a particle board desktop, allowing you to easily move it to any location as needed. A hand tool can be securely held in place within the holder's confines. Bushings are available to reduce the inside diameter if required. The first design option requires no additional support, making it an ideal choice for those who value simplicity and ease of use. The second slotted design does require support, but printing the first design and then cutting out a hole with wire cutters can provide a quicker solution - ultimately, the decision is yours to make. A gap of 19mm allows the holder to slide effortlessly over a slab of particle board, while tool holes measuring 12mm in diameter ensure that your tools are securely fastened. The third design features an 18mm gap, ideal for fitting it snugly onto 3/4" plywood. The first bushing boasts a 10mm opening, accommodating smaller diameter handles with ease. The second bushing has a 3mm opening and is longer in length to provide added support for tiny screwdrivers - its extended design prevents them from flopping around carelessly. A small hole at the top of the holder provides a convenient spot for attaching a thumbtack, offering an extra layer of security for your tools. 2020_04_29: The Hammer_Holder was uploaded, and it can be joined with two M4 flat head screws and nuts to add extra strength - it's just large enough to hold a tack hammer securely. 2020_05_01: The Hammer_Holder was deleted due to its weak spot being eliminated. Instead, the Hammer_Holder_Bracket and Hammer_Holder_Fork were uploaded - these two pieces can be joined with M4 button head machine screws and nuts for added stability. For optimal results, print both pieces at 100% fill for maximum strength.
