This thing steps in to replace the Shimano TL-PD63 Tool For Pedal Cone with ease. It produces the inner 8mm socket key on demand, and for added leverage, a 4mm allen wrench is required as an extension (check out the photos). Meanwhile, the outer 11mm socket key functions effectively like an old, thin pipe wrench. The result? My pedal stayed securely in place after remounting with no signs of looseness whatsoever.
